How To Make My Favourite Sandwich

This week in literacy, we have been making up recipes or instructions for different things. One of the things we had to do was write instructions about how to make our favourite sandwich. My favourite sandwich is the club sandwich. Here is my recipe~

Club Sandwich Instructions
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️

Ingredients:

~Bread bun
~Table spread
~A couple medium~sized leaves of lettuce
~1 tomato
~A few slices of ham or chosen
~Small piece of cucumber
~Smashed boiled egg

Equipment:

~1 bread knife
~1 chopping board
~A bench/work space
~A saucepan
~A stove
~A spoon
~A fork
~A small bowl
~A rubbish bin

Directions:

1. Place the chopping board onto the bench/work space.
2. Put the bread bun on top of the chopping board.
3. Slice the bread down the middle horizontally, using the bread knife. (Picture below) Do not fully chop it in half but just enough so can do the following step.
4. Using the bread knife again, spread the margarine evenly across the inside of the bread bun.
5. Place lettuce leaves onto each side of the bun.
6. Do the same to the ham slices.
7. Chop the tomato into medium~thin slices and place them on top of the ham.
8. Chop cucumber into small medium-thin slices and place on top of the tomatoes.
9. Spread the smashed egg evenly on top of all the other ingredients. (Egg recipe for smashed egg below step )
10. Put the two sides of the bread bun together.
12. Bon Appetit (eat and enjoy it)!

Egg Directions:

1. Place the egg in the sauce pan.
2. Pour cold water at least 1 inch (2.5cm) over the top of the egg inside the saucepan.
3. Put the saucepan on the stove.
4. Put the stove on high heat, to bring quickly to boil.
5. Once boiled, remove the saucepan from the heat.
6. Turn off the stove.
7. Let egg stand in water for 3-5 minutes.
8. Drain water and immediately run cold water over the egg until cooled.
9. Put 1 small bowl onto the bench/work space.
10. Put the egg into the small bowl that is on the bench/work space.
11. Peel the egg and put the excess egg shell into the rubbish bin.
12. After removing the egg shell, use the fork to smash the egg into small pieces.

    WOW! I really liked how you have added in colour to the post and how you have even added in a separate part for the egg directions!
    This sandwich sounds very delicious!
    I also liked how you have made each instruction very detailed and clear of what you have to do!
