Guess what! I have finished another Geronimo Stilton book, this book was called THE MUMMY WITH NO NAME, it is a scary book but not to scary, in the end Geronimo ends up in a scary mummy party!

Week 4 Reflection Term 2

Literacy
For word work I had to put my 10 words into silly/cool sentences, here are my words for this week that I used:  special, chocolate, center, whole, everywhere, excited, won't, lightning, someone and language.

Writing
For writing this week I had to write a newspaper article on Charlotte's web when it said a SOME PIG in the center of the web, this is my newspaper article.

Numeracy 
For numeracy this week I worked with my friend Hannah on a slide using decimals, our task was to add and subtract decimal problems. At first I found it really hard but in the end it was really quite easy.

For literacy this week we had to retell a small part of the story to tell the reader about our favourite/least favourite character in the book, this is my work that I have finished. 

Banqer

This is a screenshot of my banqer money for this week, I have $1,066 in my savings and 3,116 in my expenses. Next week I would like to double the amount of the money that I have right now.

Numeracy

This is my numeracy follow up for this week, we had to think of a question and figure it out using our problem solving. This is my problem.

Geronimo's Valentine

This is is book about Geronimo's Valentine, he has loved Petunia Pretty Paws for the longest amount of time you can think of! But Geronimo's Valentine doesn't go so well after he got a pail of rotten fish heads on his new tuxedo, then he slips on a sneaky banana peal and split his pants and finally Hercule Poirat ( Geronimo's best friend ( well that's what he thought ) spills a entire load of yucky mud on him. But in the end Geronimo has a fabumouse time.

Geronimo's Valentine Disaster

The 30 BC is a challenge to read 30 books over the year, this is 1 of the books I have read in the 30 BC. I enjoyed reading it because it was about Valentines Day and Geronimo Stilton has a really bad one.

Here is a some of the characters in the book: Trap { Geronimo's cousin } Thea Stilton { Geronimo's sister} Benjamin  Stilton { Geronimo's nephew } and Hercule Poirat{ Geronimo's best friend }.

For numeracy this week we had to say what country was behind or ahead of time, here is 1 of the questions:Sydney is 2 hours and 2 minutes behind Christchurch.

For Literacy this week we had to write a report about spiders, I did a report about what they eat and where they live.

                         Topic

 For Topic this week we have been learning about Anzac Day, I really enjoyed making the slides and writing down all of the information that I learnt. I didn't know that Wiremu Moeke was the first Maori soldier to die.

This is my letter to go home to my mother if I was in the war. I had to think about what it would be like in the war back in 1915.

This is a slide about Anzac Day and what it means, my WALT was to write down 3 interesting facts about the Anzac's.

Week 1

Literacy: This is a literacy activity that I did for week 1 in term 2. Our task was to describe the barn in Charlotte's web, we had to use simile , metaphors and personification.

Topic: This is 1 of the topic activities that I did for week 1, did you now that the nurses traveled to different countries.


Topic: This is another activity that I did for topic this week, did you now that most of the horses didn't go back because there wasn't enough room on the remaining ship.
