Self Respect

Last week in Whanau Time, Mrs O Sullivan (the principal) talked to the whole school about self respect. Self respect is important, it means that you can take care of your learning tools and your uniform, being confident, taking pride and being proud of any achievements or awards you get. After Whanau time, Mrs O told us to go back to class and make some sort of presentation that shows self respect. This meant we had to talk more about it as a class.

In Totara 3 we made a video about self respect. We were put into small groups and we weren't allowed to make any sounds! We did topics like labeling our uniform, writing neatly and taking care of our chrome books and school books, standing tall when receiving a reward, having neat and tidy hair and uniform and standing up to bullies. 1. Hello Kyra! It's Caitlyn here from T3. Wow, I think you really do know what self respect means. I think it's really important to show self respect towards others too, eg looking after you stuff. We all have done an awesome Job on our video of all of us showing Self Respect! Well Done, Kyra! Kind Regards, Caitlyn K T3 Grey Main School.
