Writing Week 3 Term 4 2018

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

This week in Literacy, I've has been working hard on my narrative writing focused around Halloween. A narrative is a piece of writing that you make up. It doesn't have to have true facts and can go as quirky as you want! But you still have to have all of the basics like......

  • Capital letters and full stops
  • A range of sentence starters
  • Descriptive language
  • Sentences make sense.
You can also make a mood in your writing by describing sounds and places using adjectives, similes, metaphors, short sentences and onomatopoeia. Here is my two pieces of narrative writing. They are not quite finished yet and I am still making adjustments.

Don't forget to answer the questions on the last slide!
