End Of Year Christmas Concert 2018

On Monday 17th of December 2018 and Tuesday 18th December 2018, Grey Main School is doing the usual End of Year Christmas Concert. Last year our theme was countries and this year our theme is Grey Main Staff had talent! Each syndicate has a different time/style to do. Totara 2 and 3's time is the 90s and we are performing 4 songs, they go in this order:

1. Backstreet's Back. (Backstreet Boys)
2. Barbie Girl. (Aqua)
3. S Club 7 Party. (S Club 7)
4. We like to party. (Vengaboys)

We have been practising lots over the past couple of weeks, as we want them all to look very good! Monday 17th of December is the opening night and starts at 7pm, then Tuesday 18th is the matinee at 10am. I'm pretty sure that Rata is going first and then Powhutakawa, followed by my syndicate, Totara and then finally Mamaku.

There is also school singing, awards for the Year 8s, The Burgess Family trophy for any student in the school and 2 scholarship awards. The first scholarship is called the Preston Family scholarship for students who are studying the arts and wish to do more. I have applyed for this scholarship because I do Dancing and will be going on a cruise ship to preform next year. The other scholarship is a new one and is called the Jake Millar Scholarship for people who wish to start up a business to earn money.

I can't wait for the 2018 School Christmas Concert, it's going to be great!
